Privacy policy
Summary
Zenough helps you compare a beauty product you are considering with what you already own. We collect only what that needs. We do not sell data and do not take sales commissions. Zenough itself does not track you across other apps or websites; Google personalises rewarded ads only if you allow it. Ads appear only when you choose to watch one: on the free plan, after a monthly limit is used up, you can watch a rewarded ad for one more use. Zenough Plus has no ads.
Who is responsible
Zenough is responsible for the personal data processed in Zenough (the data controller). Contact: [email protected].
What we store
- Account: name, email, password (stored only as a one-way hash) or the sign-in provider you use, a profile photo if you add one, and the goal, currency and default wait you choose.
- Cabinet: name, type, purpose, status, remaining amount, remaining-amount history and an item photo if you add one.
- Items you consider: link, name, price, photos you send and recognition results, including pictures copied from the listing page.
- Decisions: use what I have / wait / buy anyway, review dates, notes and change history.
- Usage guide: your routine, label photos you send and whether you stopped using an item.
- Subscription: your plan, the store product, the store, renewal and expiry dates, and whether the purchase was a test (sandbox) purchase.
- Rewarded ads: which extra use you earned by watching an ad and when.
- Consents: whether and when you allowed photos to be sent to AI providers.
- Notifications: a device token, language and time zone, only if you turn reminders on.
- Feedback you send from Help & feedback.
- Internal product events (see below).
Sign in with Apple and Google
- Sign in with Apple: we receive your Apple user identifier, your email (which may be an Apple private relay address) and, the first time only, the name you choose to share. We keep an Apple token only to revoke Zenough's access when you delete your account.
- Google Sign-In: we receive your Google account identifier, email, name and profile picture URL.
- We never receive your Apple or Google password.
How we use it
- Recognise a product from a link or photo and compare it with your cabinet.
- Show results, your waiting list, summary and usage guide, and send reminders you turned on.
- Provide Zenough Plus, the monthly limits and the extra uses you earn by watching a rewarded ad.
- Send account emails: email verification, password reset and account deletion confirmation.
- Fix problems and improve recognition and comparison accuracy.
Photos
- Photos sent for automatic recognition: a photo you take or choose to recognise a product (including a product you then add to your cabinet) and shelf photos. They are sent to third-party AI providers only after you allow it.
- Not sent to AI providers: a photo you attach directly to a cabinet item, your profile photo and label photos.
- Label photos you send from the usage guide are read by a member of the Zenough team, not by AI, to write a guide for that product. You are asked to agree each time you send one.
- Stored photos have their metadata removed, including location (GPS), camera and date details. Only the orientation and colour profile are kept so the photo displays correctly.
- You can stop sending photos to AI at any time with the "Allow sending photos to third-party AI" switch in Account settings. Photos already analysed are not sent again. Manual entry, checks and everything else keep working without it.
Internal product events
We record simple events such as "check completed" or "decision recorded" in our own database, linked to your account, to understand whether Zenough is useful. They contain no product names, prices, links, notes or photos. They are not shared with anyone and are not used for advertising or tracking.
Rewarded ads
- On the free plan, after you have used this month's automatic recognitions or shelf scans, you can choose to watch a rewarded ad from Google AdMob to get one more automatic recognition or shelf scan. The extra use counts for the current month only.
- An ad is shown only after you tap to watch one. Zenough shows no other ads, and Zenough Plus has no ads.
- Google may personalise ads using your device's advertising identifier and your activity in other apps and websites, but only if you allow it: on iOS, Zenough asks for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) the first time you tap to watch an ad; in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google asks for your consent first; on Android, you can delete or reset your advertising ID and turn off ad personalisation in your device settings. If you decline, ads are still shown but not personalised, and you still get the extra use.
- To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google AdMob receives data from your device under Google's policies (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites): your device's advertising identifier (the IDFA on iOS if you allow tracking, the advertising ID on Android), your IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with the ad.
- To give you the extra use, Google tells our server that the ad was watched, together with a random identifier for your account that reveals nothing about you. We store which extra use was granted and when.
- We never share your cabinet, items you consider, decisions, purchases or photos with advertisers or with Google AdMob.
Service providers
Some work is done by service providers on our behalf. Each receives only what its task needs:
- Third-party AI model providers: analyse link content and the photos described above to recognise products. They receive only what recognition needs, never your name, email or cabinet. We may change providers over time; when a change moves where data is processed, the International transfers section is updated.
- Cloudflare (R2): photo storage.
- Google Firebase: reminder notifications, if you turn them on.
- RevenueCat, Apple App Store and Google Play: process Zenough Plus purchases. RevenueCat receives an app user identifier for your account and your purchase history; payment is handled by Apple or Google, and we never see your card details.
- Google AdMob: shows a rewarded ad only when you choose to watch one, and confirms to our server that it was watched (see Rewarded ads).
- Resend: sends verification, password reset and account deletion emails.
- A web reader we operate: loads public pages from links you send. We never sign in to your shopping accounts.
International transfers
To provide these features, data is transferred outside Vietnam:
- United States: Google (Firebase, AdMob), RevenueCat, Resend and Cloudflare.
- AI providers: photos and link content sent for recognition may be processed on servers outside Vietnam, currently in the United States and China.
- Apple and Google process purchases in the countries where they operate.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept until you delete it or delete your account. You can delete your account in the app (Account settings) or on the web at https://keestd.com/account-deletion. Deleting your account removes the account, cabinet, decisions, routine, feedback, product events, extra uses earned from ads, uploaded photos and listing pictures copied for you, asks RevenueCat to delete your purchase history and revokes Zenough's access to your Apple ID.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Zenough Plus subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account first; Apple and Google keep their own purchase records, and Google AdMob keeps ad data under its own policies.
Your choices
- View and edit your data in the app.
- Export a copy from Account settings › Export my data.
- Delete single items, single photos, all photos or your whole account.
- Withdraw consent to send photos to AI providers, and turn reminders off, in Account settings.
- Never watch an ad: ads are shown only when you tap to watch one, and manual entry always stays available.
- Change your ad personalisation choice at any time: on iOS in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; on Android in Settings › Google › Ads (or Privacy › Ads, depending on the device).
Minimum age
Zenough is for people aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children; if you believe a child under 16 uses Zenough, contact us and we will delete the account.
Changes
When this policy changes, the version and effective date at the top are updated. If a change affects how photos are sent to AI providers, the app asks for your consent again.
